Hok Siong is the director of Professional Services for Sun Microsystems Asia Pacific and is responsible for growing the Professional Services business across the region. His charter is to ensure an effective integration of the Professional Services (PS) business into the overall Services architecture and to drive PS solutions into Sun's high-end systems and storage spaces, middleware software and infrastructure software.

Hok Siong has over twenty years industry experience in the software and services industry. Prior to this role he was the director, Asia South, Professional Services business for nearly three years, where he was responsible for driving business opportunities and market share across the region. Hok Siong is regularly invited to speak at international business and technology conferences.

Before joining Sun in 2003 Hok Siong held technology and sales positions at Cap Gemini, where he was responsible for the South East Asia Region.

Prior to this he worked for Lotus Development (Lotus Professional Services) in a variety of management positions.

Hok Siong earned his Bachelor of Commerce from National University of Ireland (Galway) and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Cork (Ireland).
