Kia Chiang is the Director of Systems Practice for Sun Microsystems, Asia South. As the head of Systems Practice, Kia Chiang is responsible for driving sales of Sun's systems products in the Asia South region.

Kia Chiang joined Sun in 1994 as the Account Sales Manager for Singapore. With 18 years of experience in the IT industry and with Sun for over 12 years, Kia Chiang has held sales, channels and product sales management positions. He led the SMB business and drove volume sales for the last four years. Kia Chiang has been instrumental in growing Sun's business in the SMB sector. A key proponent of Sun in the x64 space, he has helped reinforced Sun as a leading player in the volume market.

Before joining Sun, Kia Chiang was with Hewlett Packard.

Kia Chiang holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering (Honours) degree from the University of Queensland, Australia.
