Ong Chee Beng is the Managing Director of Singapore for Sun Microsystems. As the Managing Director of Sun Microsystems Singapore, he is responsible for driving business opportunities, delivering revenue growth and winning greater market share in Singapore.

With more than 18 years of sales, leadership and management experience in the IT industry, Chee Beng came to Sun as part of the StorageTek acquisition in September 2005, where he was the Country Director for Singapore and Thailand. Having rose through the ranks as a Systems Engineer in IBM, he has held various technical, consulting, sales, leadership and management positions in IBM, Candle Corporation, Storage Technology Corporation (StorageTek) and now Sun Microsystems.

Chee Beng holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (2nd Class Honours) from the National University of Singapore majoring in Computer Engineering from the Nanyang Technological Institute.
