The Open Jive Regional Challenge 2009, Grand Finals which was held concurrently at Sun Developer Days, was a huge success, thanks to the students' participation and your support. The two month challenge received over 100 project submissions from the five participating countries – Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. The five country champions convened in Singapore to compete for the coveted title of Open Jive Regional Grand Champion. The five teams faced off 'live' on stage as they showcased their Java-based applications and Singapore Team, CDSTrio emerged as the Grand Champion, with their winning application 'SmartShop'.
