The Sun Java Composite Application Platform Suite (Java CAPS) Development course is intended as a followup to Sun Java CAPS Solutions (SB-CAP-0500). It continues to present Java CAPS 5.1 to those new to the product, as well as to developers who have previous experience with Datagate or previous eGate versions. This course is not a migration or upgrade course. It is designed for a technical audience and is a prerequisite for Advanced Sun Java Composite Application Platform Suite (SB-CAP-0580). Completion of this course is a prerequisite for the Sun Certified Developer for Java CAPS (SBX-500) exam.
Who Can BenefitStudents who can benefit from this course are engineers and developers who will be responsible for configuring new Java CAPS 5.1 implementations using the Sun SeeBeyond eGate Integrator (eGate) and Sun SeeBeyond eInsight Business Process Manager (eInsight) toolsets.PrerequisitesTo succeed fully in this course, it is recommended that students have a background in Java technology, application integration, web services, Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), and Web Service Description Language (WSDL).
